Design and execute the construction of Outdoor & Wellness Experience 2025

Prize: €7,000

Piscina Barcelona, in collaboration with the Spanish Association of Landscape Architects (AEP), invites architecture and landscaping studios to participate in the conceptualisation, design and construction management of the star activity of Piscina Barcelona 2025.

We are looking for proposals of ephemeral architecture for a space of 1000 m² that combines an outdoor area integrated into a plant environment, creating an immersive and natural experience for visitors. The proposal must also include a Wellness area, with a swimming pool, water areas, treatment booths, a sauna and changing rooms.

The space must be sustainable from a three-fold perspective: economic, functional and environmental, and in a green environment.

You have time up to 2pm on 31 January 2025.

From 7 January 2025, the technical secretary’s office will contact us to request the project sheet (then the second form will have to be filled in, which will have to be submitted by 7 February 2025 at the latest).

On 13 February 2025 the prizes will be awarded in a public ceremony.

Who can participate

The competition is national in scope and is aimed at landscape architects and architects who have their qualifications recognised in Spain. Participants may register individually or in multidisciplinary teams.
