Piscina Barcelona grows in visitors and companies and strengthens its European leadership

Piscina Barcelona 2025 concludes today with a very positive balance after four days of intense commercial activity and networking at the stands. With the attendance of more than 17,000 professionals, 20% more than two years ago, and 428 exhibitors from 30 countries, the event has reinforced its leadership as the most international European platform for the pool, wellness, and outdoor living industry, in an edition marked by growth and innovation.

The widespread satisfaction among exhibitors and visitors reflects the dynamism and good health of the pool industry. The international connection with Europe, Latin America, and strategic markets such as the Middle East, together with the appeal of the Spanish market—second in Europe and fourth in the world by number of pools—have been decisive factors in attracting companies and professionals from all over the world. In this edition, 70% of the exhibiting companies and 60% of the attendees came from abroad, confirming the global character of the event.

According to Eloi Planes, president of the organizing committee of Piscina Barcelona and executive president of Fluidra: “The growth, internationalization, and innovative offering of the event have demonstrated the economic relevance of a sector that provides sustainable solutions for enjoying water and generates social value, creating environments that foster well-being, health, and spaces for connection.”

In this regard, Piscina Barcelona 2025 has showcased the latest solutions to automate maintenance and optimize water and energy consumption, with a special focus on artificial intelligence and digitalization in equipment and accessories for the operation of pools and wellness spaces. The most innovative proposals have focused on reducing environmental impact and creating connected ecosystems for more efficient and healthier aquatic facilities.

At the same time, the commitment to the outdoor sector has been very well received. One of the most visited spaces was the Outdoor & Wellness Experience, a showroom that strengthened the link between pool, wellness, and outdoor design, presenting trends in furniture, landscaping, and sustainable equipment.

    Activities with great participation
At the same time, more than 30 conferences and sessions addressed topics such as sustainability, digital transformation, and sector growth. Particularly noteworthy were the sessions dedicated to business opportunities in Mexico and Andalusia, the Pool Horizons Summit on the social value of pools, and the International Landscape Biennial of Barcelona, which brought together professionals and international experts.

The event also hosted the presentation of several sector awards that highlighted the innovation and excellence driving the pool and wellness industry.

Piscina Barcelona will hold its next edition from November 15 to 18, 2027, at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona.
